Hello and welcome back to Free Love Valley Soaps.
As you may have already read in the ‘About’ section of our website, you know that the safety of cyclists motivates me, and that a portion of our net profits of soap sales is donated to charitable organizations that promote bicycling safety and awareness. Cycling has become a part of my life because of the enjoyment I get from the exercise – being outside connecting with nature, friends, and good thoughts of my sister Barbara. A win-win-win, ha.
Most of my bicycling is done along the scenic Schuylkill River Trail – a wonderful pedestrian and bicycle trail located in Southeastern Pennsylvania that is, in part, maintained by enthusiastic volunteers. There are currently about 60 miles of completed sections, with over a projected 120 miles upon trail completion. Here is a link for you that contains maps and useful information about the Schuylkill River Trail.
While riding the trail today, I noticed the mixture of sweet springtime aromas – perhaps a mixture of fresh honeysuckle and pine growing wild in the woods. The sweet scent made me think of our Orange Blossom 100% pure essential oil soap that we make here at Free Love Valley Soaps. The Orange Blossom soap has a natural orange color, as it comes directly from the orange peel that is captured in the essential oil creation process. The Orange Blossom is a personal favorite because it has a light, sweet, and citrusy aroma that reminds me of springtime and it was the essential oil that I used in making my very first batch of soap. Do you have a favorite essential oil scent that reminds you of a nice place or time in your life?
