Hello and welcome back to the start of a new decade!  (photo is of the sun rising over the Atlantic)

As we turn the calendar pages over, or swipe left 🙂  from 2019 to 2020, I reflect back on the past year and want to thank all of you for your positive feedback and support throughout 2019.  The most fulfilling part of 2019 has been connecting with the community and meeting people (you!) that are encouraging and supportive regarding our ‘Soap-Up for Cyclists’ mission at Free Love Valley Soaps.

The past year took our soap displays to several events which started back in April.  The Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia sponsored the Profite Roll – a wonderful fundraising event for Philadelphia’s ‘Families for Safe Streets’ spearheaded by the Emily Fredricks Foundation.  We also met more welcoming people at the Friends Art & Music Festival in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, and also in Exton, Pennsylvania at the West Whiteland Township Building for their holiday craft event.  Many kind people at the Tel Hai Community, located in the beautiful rolling farm land of Honey Brook, Pennsylvania, embraced our mission and our skin-loving soaps.  Another highlight of 2019 was meeting the editor, Caroline O’Halloran, of the online news magazine Savvy Mainline, at a ‘Sip and Shop’ event held at Pure Energy Studio in Paoli, Pennsylvania.  In 2019, Free Love Valley Soaps was also so pleased to join the displays at the very hip and supportive bike shop, Village Velo Bikes, located in Skippack, PA.

A huge thank you to friends, family, and the generous shops that continue to display and give support to our mission: Cabin Shop at Valley Forge Washington Memorial Chapel – Valley Forge National Park area, Bike Sport – Trappe, Perkiomen Bicycles – Schwenksville, Wissahickon Cyclery – Chestnut Hill, Twisted Cog Bike Shop – Phoenixville, and the Collegeville Yoga Bar – Collegeville.  Thank you.

In conclusion, have you been wondering what our most popular essential oil soap scent was in 2019?… well, so many of you gave the Lemongrass essential oil soap a whole lot of love this year!  The Lemongrass was very popular and it’s most likely because of its uplifting and citrusy aroma.

My goal for 2020 is to continue to create a beautiful product with a beautiful purpose for you to use and enjoy daily.

Thank you again for your business in 2019 and Happy New Year.
– Wendy
